Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board Requirements

Arkansas licenses must be renewed every two-years from the date of issue.  AR Code § 17-103-203
 
Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
48 credit hours of SWCE must be completed during each two-year licensure period.  A minimum of three hours of the 48 hours of SWCE must be in professional ethics.  A maximum of twenty clock hours of home study are allowed during a two-year license period   AR Code § 17-103-203
 
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
48 credit hours of SWCE must be completed during each two-year licensure period.  A minimum of three hours of the 48 hours of SWCE must be in professional ethics. A maximum of twenty clock hours of home study are allowed during a two-year license period    AR Code § 17-103-203
 
Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW)
48 credit hours of SWCE must be completed during each two-year licensure period.  A minimum of three hours of the 48 hours of SWCE must be in professional ethics. A maximum of twenty clock hours of home study are allowed during a two-year license period    AR Code § 17-103-203
