Course Overview

Evidence-based practice (EBP) is at the forefront of clinical decision making in speech-language pathology. Professionals must have a clear understanding of its principles to effectively apply it to daily practice. Patient/family values are an integral part of EBP. Clinicians develop expertise through didactic and mentored clinical learning opportunities. Speech-language pathologists search for evidence in the literature using well-focused clinical questions and search terms.
