I was impressed with the discussion of cultural considerations, but also effective communication. This population is certainly high risk for educational fall out because of the extra effort and time involved. One of the pitfalls with this group, may be staffs level of stress and being stretched thin. This causes an opportunity for these extra efforts to be missed and these patient's not receiving the level of education and attention that they deserve. A concerted effort must be made with this group.
