Course Overview

Illinois law prohibits sexual harassment. Although it may sound like a simple concept, sexual harassment can be difficult for individuals to truly comprehend. Employees need to know what behavior is considered sexual harassment and what they should do if they witness or experience any type of sexual harassment. Understanding those requirements can help companies and individuals avoid behaviors that might constitute sexual harassment. This course will identify those requirements. The goal of this educational program is to provide Administrators, Nurses, and Social Work professionals with the required content regarding sexual harassment for the State of Illinois.  

About the Course Author

Nellie Wirth, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is an accomplished human resource professional with nearly 20 years of comprehensive human resource management experience both domestically and internationally. Nellie has proven experience collaborating with leaders at all levels. Her expertise includes extensive knowledge of strategic planning and all areas of Human Resources including talent and performance management, learning and development, organizational development, employee relations, recruitment and selection, total rewards, and HR compliance. She especially enjoys sharing her subject matter expertise through classroom facilitation.
