Yet a sense of happiness and well-being has been linked to improved health and longevity. Knowing how to manage life’s circumstances to feel happier can improve physical and psychological health. This module examines the science of happiness and reviews some of the studies done by positive psychologists and organizations dedicated to improving world happiness. It also explains the physiological changes the body experiences with happiness and gives evidence-based strategies for improving happiness and sense of well-being.

I think in the often overworked field of healthcare, we forget how to be happy. Sometimes it shows to our patients. I also am the lead in a pulmonary rehab program where my patients are dealing with chronic illness. It's hard for them to be happy day after day. There are things I will definitely utilize in my personal and professional lives.
