This course seemed to cover most of what a dietitian must know and understand in order to counsel anyone with metabolic syndrome, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and weight issues. It gave me a better understanding of how medications work in treating problems with weight management, what to look for when counseling children and parents, and how to better achieve success when counseling patients dealing with weight management.

Combines well with Nutritional Care of Diabetes which probably took me a bit longer to complete although I recorded 6 hours for that one also. I wasn't recording the time spent.
