Summary:

This continuing education module goes into the nitty-gritty of fats and fatty acids and their role in health and disease.   • Discuss the various types of fats found in the diet and how they contribute to or prevent disease
  • Identify dietary sources of saturated fats, omega-3 fatty acids and trans fats

This course is very good when you want to understand the amount of fat in your food and the difference of good fat and bad fat.
