It is necessary for maintaining energy levels during training; achieving target performance, body composition and weight goals; and reducing the incidence of illness and injury. This course will provide a unique opportunity to learn professional and practical approaches to working with athletes of all skill levels, from recreational athletes to Olympian athletes, to help each achieve personal bests in health, sport and life.

The goal of this nutrition and athletics continuing education course about optimal nutrition for athletes is to educate registered dietitian nutritionists and other healthcare professionals working with recreational and competitive athletes about professional and practical nutrition strategies for assessing, guiding, and supporting recreational to professional athletes.
