Summary:

Reviewed and recertified in 2013. Essential for administrators and supervisors — and employees.
Lynne does it again! Continuing her series on hands-on management, she tackles the hardest part of the job: employees: how to find them, how to train them, how to keep them, what the law says about them. All in a logical, readable, practical package of principles, practices, strategies and tactics. Most chapters have scenarios and exercises to help you train yourself to act, not react, in specific situations. All come from a lifetime of experience in the real world.

Exam did not match outdated materials. Customer service was unresponsive after 3 attempts. Wasted a lot of time with this class.

The tone of this course was pedantic. There were blanket emphatic statements with no research to back them up like "Adults dislike written quizze". Says who? There were numerous such statements. This just wasn't very helpful, interesting or insightful.

Written in a matter-of-fact manner. My intent is to use it more in patient motivation and writing lesson plans. I found the material helpful.
