Summary:

The goal of this adhesive capsulitis continuing education program is to help physical and occupational therapists identify the etiology, presentation, and treatments associated with adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder, commonly known as frozen shoulder syndrome [FSS]).
 
The content in this course is applicable to OT and PT in acute, post-acute, and outpatient settings.

Objectives:

After taking this course, you should be able to:
  • Discuss the etiology and risk factors associated with FSS
  • Demonstrate an understanding of therapy techniques appropriate to the treatment of FSS
  • Explain the most frequently used medical management strategies for patients with FSS
