Course Overview

Significant weight loss has consequences. To the individual, it increases his or her nutritional risk for poorer outcomes, even death. The course is intended to break down the procedures for nutrition assessment so the learner can successfully navigate through each step of the process. It includes a detailed review of the resident assessment instrument process so clinicians can thoroughly understand and be successful in its implementation. Practical tips and real-life examples are provided throughout for the nutrition professional who would like to connect the information to actual practice.
