Course Overview

The American Stroke Association estimates that 85% of all strokes are related to ischemia. Ischemic strokes are the leading cause of adult disability in the United States. When it comes to stroke care, prevention is key. Pharmacological agents that slow or prevent clot development are often part of the prevention plan.
