Course Overview

Lumpectomy is the surgical standard of care today for many breast lesions. Increasingly, surgeons are performing lumpectomy procedures, either with or without wire placement, rather than radical mastectomy. The decision is based upon the size of the tumor. CSTs & CSFAs need continuing education hours to increase their knowledge about this procedure.
