Course Overview

In order to safely practice physical therapy, it is important to understand the rules and regulations set by the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy. The Administrative Code and Practice Act are documents which outline the rules and regulations created to protect physical therapy professionals and their patients. This course will review the powers of the Board, licensure and examination procedures, duties of physical therapy professionals, and disciplinary actions for unlawful practice. It will also review the rights of the consumer and the public.
