Course Overview

Simply put, members of racial, ethnic and cultural minority groups suffer from healthcare disparities. In this module, we will examine why these disparities occur, why both the cultural backgrounds of clients and their clinicians can negatively impact clients‘ mental health outcomes and what kinds of actions clinicians can take to provide more effective care to clients of diverse cultures.
