Course Overview

The collaborative care concept was created to help manage multiple physical and behavioral health comorbidities by involving a primary care physician, case manager(s) with relevant training, and a behavioral health specialist, such as a psychiatrist or other trained professional. This course will educate learners about how collaborative care can be used to efficiently address a complex patient with comorbid physical and psychological illness, as well as demonstrate the different roles fulfilled by various members of the collaborative care team.
