This is an excellent course regarding the problematic issue of childhood obesity. It will assist healthcare professionals to design and implement any preventative program regarding children to promote more useful ways to control lifestyle related habits when it comes to eating, exercising and improving an overall sense of well-being and self-esteem. The facts on contributing factors and the science behind the choices parents make when it comes to dealing with this predicament was useful for those in the acute care and counseling arena. I would also use this to train and educate future healthcare practitioners interested in caring for our children and youth when it comes to controlling their weight!
