This module provides clinicians with an in-depth understanding of the clinical presentation of the patient with advanced dementia. Evaluation using objective measures, intervention, and appropriate patient-centered goals based on clinical presentation, environment, and resources will be discussed. Guidelines for effective communication strategies and recommendations for community-based resources and services are described.
