Summary:
The care experience involves every interaction the patient encounters from initial entry into the healthcare system through discharge to home. A better patient-care experience leads to increased ratings on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey, which means better patient outcomes and hospital reimbursement. This module discusses the responsiveness of staff and communication about medication domains of the HCAHPS survey.
