Amy M. Johnson, MSN, RN, CPN, has more than 20 years of nursing experience in the healthcare arena. Prior to joining Relias, she worked for Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a Registered Nurse, Nursing Professional Development Specialist, and Designated Nurse Planner creating and implementing continuing education programs according to the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). As a Nursing Professional Development Specialist, she coordinated a formalized residency program on-boarding approximately 100 new graduate nurses per year in a major academic medical center. Ms. Johnson has also been a Certified Pediatric Nurse during her career. Her role as a Designated Nurse Planner included reviewing and analyzing objectives, content outline and appropriateness of material for continuing education based on needs assessments of the learner. Ms. Johnson graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee and her Master of Sciencein Nursing from Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee. She has been with Relias since 2011 as the Director of Accreditations.
Dorothy W. Angelini MSN, RN | Senior Accreditations Officer
Dorothy (Dody) W. Angelini, MSN, RN has more than 30 years experience in nursing, including clinical practice in maternal and child health, public health, and continuing education. She received bachelor's in nursing from Adelphi University and her master's in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. Dody served as the director of maternal and child health services for the New Jersey Department of Health where she was responsible for the development of a statewide system of maternal health services in NJ. She is currently senior accreditations officer at Relias where she oversees the accreditation process for various healthcare professions.
Maria Morales MSN, RNClinical Designer, Clinical Education
Maria Morales, MSN, RN, is Director, Clinical Education, at Relias. She is a quality-focused, results-driven nursing professional in the continuing education healthcare field. Prior to becoming a nurse educator, she had functioned as a PACU RN with educational and managerial duties. When transitioning from the acute care to healthcare education setting, she was chosen to be a part of the Gannett Healthcare Group team where she functioned as Associate Director of Educational Initiatives in planning, updating, editing, proofreading and modifying continuing educational materials. Over the years, she was promoted to Executive Director, Healthcare Programs where she managed the content team of nursing, medicine, pharmacy, and allied health professions. She now works for Relias with similar responsibilities. Responsibilities include management of continuing educational activities, certification review courses, topic specific review courses, live webinar events, and the overall actualization of new educational initiatives/projects from start to finish on a national level. Duties include developing and managing presenter/author relationships, maintaining current, interesting educational materials, and overseeing an expert clinical educator staff.
