Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Requirements

 30 hours of continuing education is due by October 31st of each odd year.

  • 24 hours shall be in medical nutrition therapy, that includes diet therapy, medical dietetics, clinical nutrition or the equivalent.
  • Must be approved by ADA, CDR, or CBNS
