CE Requirements for EMTs and Paramedics

EMR: 10 hours of CE with 2 of the 10 hours being pediatric related topics.

EMT: 20 hours of CE with 5 of the 20 hours being pediatric related topics.

AEMT: 25 hours of CE with 8 of the 25 hours being pediatric related topics.

Paramedic: 32 hours of CE with 8 of the 32 hours being pediatric related topics.

Paramedic Critical Care: 32 hours of CE  with 8 of the 32 hours being related topics.  An additional 10 hours of CE related to critical care topics.

Renewal date is based on the individual's birth month an year. License will expire on the last day of the individuals birth month. If individual was born in an even year, license will expire in an even year. If individual was born in an odd year, license will expire in an odd year.
