New Mexico Emergency Medical Systems Requirements

New Mexico EMS providers must renew their licenses every 2 years.  Requirements for license renewals shall be completed by December 31.  7.27.28(M).  New Mexico requirements may not match those of the national registry.  7.27.211(B).

Requirements for EMT-P:
60 hours of continuing education.  7.27.211.

Requirements for EMT-Intermediate:
50 hours of continuing education. 7.27.211.

Requirements for EMT-B:
40 hours of continuing education. 7.27.211.

Requirements for EMR:
20 hours of continuing education. 7.27.211.
