Summary:

There are many different types of cancer that affect men. As varied as the diagnoses are, some cancers do have common "red flag" symptoms that men should not ignore. Update your knowledge of these symptoms so that you can provide the best information to your make patients and their families.

Objectives:

The purpose of this presentation is to provide healthcare providers the information about signs of cancer men should be aware of. Upon completion, participants will be able to:
  • State the three most common cancers that affect men.
  • Identify at least two risk factors for each of the most common cancers that affect men.
  • Describe various ways healthcare providers can help men become more aware and reduce their risk of cancer.

After reading the presentation, complete the course test online. With a score of 75% or better and completing the evaluation, you may immediately print your CE certificate of completion or save a pdf of it for your records. You may also request a copy to be sent to you by mail. If your score is less than the passing score of 75%, you may retake the test. In the event of loss, there is no charge for a replacement copy of a CE certificate.

Three of the questions on the exam were not included in course content. I even downloaded the pdf of the slideshow and reviewed the slides, searched for the keywords in the file, and the answers were not there. I had to completelyguess at questions 3 and 4.
