Summary:
There are many different types of cancer that affect men. As varied as the diagnoses are, some cancers do have common "red flag" symptoms that men should not ignore. Update your knowledge of these symptoms so that you can provide the best information to your make patients and their families.
Objectives:
The purpose of this presentation is to provide healthcare providers the information about signs of cancer men should be aware of. Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- State the three most common cancers that affect men.
- Identify at least two risk factors for each of the most common cancers that affect men.
- Describe various ways healthcare providers can help men become more aware and reduce their risk of cancer.
